babies at dim sum; laundry rogue

Here we are out for our friend John’s birthday dim sum party. The hostess seated us in the corner, which I think was mainly to keep us out of the way, but which had the unintended good effect of enabling us to corral the kids between the walls and the table. Made us wonder if you couldn’t have a successful, family-friendly chain restaurant in which each table was basically in a little stall where kids could get down and play.


And here is our bear at the coin laundry, running around with one of those wheeled baskets:
